Pastor Jack D. Risner
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jack Risner is the Lead Pastor of Erie First Assembly. He joined the staff in February of 1995 after having served churches in California, Oregon and Idaho.
He spent his early years growing up in Westfield, Buffalo and Syracuse, New York. Pastor Jack and his wife Pam, have been married for 35 years and have four grown children living in California, Colorado, Washington, DC and South Africa.
His undergraduate work was done at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, and his graduate work has been done at Western Evangelical Seminary (now merged with George Fox University) and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Although he loves the opportunity to worship with the community of faith on Sunday mornings and to share thoughts from the Holy Scriptures, his greatest joy is discussing life issues with smaller groups of friends. He really believes that the Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of right relationships. |
